TOM AND SHEILA ROSEVEAR       HEATHERHAUS'S GENTLE BEN

MY HUSBAND AND I PURCHASED OUR GERMAN SHEPHERD PUPPY ONE MONTH AGO FROM

HEATHERHAUS SHEPHERDS. IT WAS A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE.

THE PUPPIES ARE RAISED IN A VERY LOVING AND SECURE ENVIORNMENT.

WHEN WE BROUGHT OUR PUPPY HOME IT WAS EASY TO SEE THE ATTENTION HE HAD RECEIVED

BY THE WAY HE RESPONDED TO THE LEASH AND ALREADY NEW HOW TO SIT WHEN ASKED.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BREEDER FOR ANYONE LOOKING FOR A GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG.

SINCERELY,

SHEILA ROSEVEAR

VICTOR AND PAT LAURENT         HEATHERHAUS'S SOPHIE SAGE

WE GOT OUR "LITTLE GIRL" SOPHIE SAGE FROM HEATHERHAUS (PAT AND DONNA) IN MAY 2015

AND WE COULD NOT BE MORE THRILLED WITH HER. ALTHOUGH SOPHIE IS OUR 5TH GERMAN SHEPHERD, SHE IS THE FIRST ONE FROM HEATHERHAUS. I WILL SAY , DONNA AND PAT KNOW GERMAN SHEPHERDS AND WHAT IT TAKES TO BREED BEAUTIFUL SOCIAL DOGS.

AT 6 1/2 MONTHS SOPHIE IS SHOWING SUCH INTELLIGENCE AND HER SOCIAL SKILLS ARE GREAT

I AM OF THE BELIEF....EXCELLENT BREEDERS, EXCELLENT DOGS. SOPHIE IS WONDERFUL WITH PEOPLE AND OTHER DOGS. HER GOOD LOOKS AND HER BEHAVIOUR GETS LOTS OF ATTENTION.

I GUESS YOU COULD SAY WE LIKE TO SHOW HER OFF.

JUDY AND ED KOSIERB              HEATHERHAUS'S BLACK JAZMIN MOON

I want to tell you how pleased we are with Black Jazmin Moon,  Jazz as we call her , is a beautiful, highly intelligent and very loyal, affectionate puppy. When  walking down the street with

Jazz men and women both have stopped and let us know how much they admire Jazz. She makes

friends on our walks and while playing in the park, Jazz will lay down to say Hi to her smaller friends. She plays "chase me, catch me" with friends and when she gets close to the catch, will back

off so the game can continue.

We have decided we will always own a  GERMAN SHEPHERD bought from you.

thank-you

Judy and Ed Kosierb

LORI AND DAVE KELLY                HEATHERHAUS'S SIR DUKE

We were fortunate enough to have known Donna for several years that when we decided to purchase a GSD, we knew we would be in good hands with HEATHERHAUS SHEPHERD .

A year before we decided to buy, we went up for a visit and met every single dog that they owned including the future Mom and Dad to our boy Duke. Each and every dog was approachable.

We decided to purchase a dog for our youngest son who struggles with two learning disabilities, making it challenging for him to foster friendships and to manage and recognize body language. His love of Shepherds and the timing for our family made our adoption decision simple. Donna knew what our intention was for our new family member, to assist our youngest and to provide unconditional love and affection to him every day without fail. She knew the dog that would best match our lifestyle. On July 2, 2014 Donna brought two males for us to see immediately our son fell in love with our boy Duke. Donna supplied us with a wealth of information and supplies and was a supportive resource for any questions we had following adoption.

Duke has grown into a loving gentle family member. He can be taken anywhere from play parks with children and dogs to old age homes. He has displayed gentleness and softness around the elderly while visiting a nursing home last Christmas he was so good provide a calm loving presence around residents who brightened up by seeing him there in the lounge. He gave our neighbor who was dying of lung cancer and on constant oxgen a chance to enjoy a visit every few weeks. Negotiating his oxygen feeds to still nuzzle and lick his face so gently he somehow knew that this was what would bring a smile to his face.n

We even witnessed him at the vets visiting with other dogs but when an older lab came out of therapy still struggling with movement-Duke sniffed him gently and laid beside him. There is no doubt this breed is special but somehow I feel that we got the best of both worlds. A loving approachable loyal family pet and a playful dog who can enjoy the outdoors. Duke is the first offspring of Heatherhau's Tazz and Mikey , his picture s are available on this website along with theirs.

The difference between buying from Pat and Donna Heatherton is that you not only adopt a family member, you become one. They are knowledgeable, experienced breeders who know that temperament is the most important quality in a GSD. We know that the investment we have made has paid off twith every person who stops and asks us about our beautiful boy. Intelligence, loyalty, kindness, naturally rotective, fun loving and playful if you are ready for a commitment to train and foster this breed you have found the right breeder.
